Entertainment
Clubs and Shows
Crazy Horse Paris
at the MGM Grand Casino

Okay, here's a show that me and my DH (Dear Husband) disagreed on. If you want to see a topless show on the Strip, but aren't really
into just watching random boobies flopping to music, this is the show to see. Somehow, the creators of this show managed to make the
requisite T&A show artistic. And the performers are all classically trained ballerinas. I thought it was visually stunning and the
intimate theater was a nice change of pace. My DH, on the other hand, thought it was pretentious and boring. So you'll have to be the
judge. Maybe I'll set up a poll for this one (Poll not pole, that wasn't a stripper pun <g>).

PEEPSHOW
at Planet Hollywood

Confession time. I loved
Girls Next Door. I even have a pair of pink bunny flip flops I bought at the Playboy store in Caesar's Forum
Shops and I bought my DH a bottle of Playboy Las Vegas cologne. Bridget was my fav on the show, but Holly came a close second.
Man, was I bummed when the twins came along and the show was canceled. When PEEPSHOW changed to star Holly Madison, I
begged my DH for tickets. A topless dance review wasn't exactly a hard sell :-)  Anyway, I loved it. There was an actual storyline that
was easily followed, unlike a few other topless reviews I've seen that I won't mention. And if you've read any of my books, you know
I'm a sucker for dream imagery. The show was fun, naughty, and highly entertaining. Even the music was great. Both my DH and I
give it a double thumbs up.

Studio 54
inside the MGM

Let me start by saying that maybe it's my age, but I'm particular about my dance clubs and Studio 54 is my absolute favorite. Not that
I'm ancient or anything. I'd have been boogying in my diapers if I went to the original 54 in New York in the '70's. But my DH and I
do like to go out dancing and Studio 54 is the one club we've been to that I could stay 'til closing. The music is eclectic and the ages
range from 20's through 40's mainly, though I did see a couple I think may have been to the original Studio 54 back in the day. What
I really liked about it was the fact they didn't pack us in like sardines. I swear, they use shoe horns to get people in to some of the
other, newer clubs. I get claustrophobic flashbacks just thinking about it. At Studio 54, I had enough room to dance the night away
without bumping into anyone every two seconds. The dress code is definitely not casual, but I think that just makes for a more special
date. So if you're looking for someplace special, not just a place to get drunk and fling yourself around, I highly recommend Studio 54.
